Overlooked
Unheard
Withered

The effect
New as always..
The tomorrow-
Old and Spent..
The hope-
Volatile,
Like a mirage
Distant..
Far..

Escapism
Or the distorted beliefs..
Recognition no more plausible.

Screams rendered a lighter hue
Memories hollow

Discovered
In the silence-
